For many years now I have had the privilege of being heavily involved with the production of the Mo Ibrahim Governance weekend. This has involved staging a welcome ceremony, conference, gallery, football match and celebration concert in African nations including Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Ghana. This year, it included building a small studio in a London location, in order to broadcast the event online, and bring in participants from around the world. My role has been Network construction and administration (including servers for the design and edit team), web streaming, video engineering and sound engineering! Its an adventure, for sure!
